GLREA received a grant from the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Energy Services to update the
2013 Guidebook for Community Solar Programs in Michigan Communities. The updated Guidebook includes new information
and will help local units of government, organizations, and individuals learn about solar and geothermal renewable energy and be
a resource to support the deployment of it. The book includes information on Community Solar, the GLREA Solarize Program, the Solar Energy Return on Investment, Resources to Support Local Communities, and more. The Guidebook can be downloaded above or from the link here. Below are four webinars that explore topics included in the Guidebook.

GLREA Solarize is a program that supports communities effort to make going solar more affordable and easier to access for individuals. SolSmart is a national program that helps cities, counties and towns become solar leaders through technical assistance.
